Learning Support Assistant / SEND Learning Support Assistant
From September 2019, St Charles Borromeo Catholic Primary School will be looking to appoint a competent, personable and flexible Learning Support Assistant to assist throughout the school. In line with other teaching support staff within the school, the successful candidate will be expected to work in a range of year groups and/or with children with special educational needs. The post is for 27.5 hours per week as a LSA and a further 5 hours a week as a lunchtime supervisor (Monday to Friday) on a term time only basis. The post will initially be a Fixed Term 1 year contract, which may be extended to a permanent contract after 1 year. Relevant qualifications and experience is highly desirable and applicants will be expected to demonstrate competence in Maths and English commensurate with working in all phases across the school. A variation to the hours above may be possible for the right candidate. However, please state your availability on your application.

Nursery Teaching and Learning Assistant
From September 2019, St Charles Borromeo Catholic Primary School will be looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and personable Teaching and Learning Assistant to assist primarily in the Nursery in our happy and successful school. The post is for 32 hours per week (Monday to Friday) on a term time only basis. The post will initially be a Fixed Term 1 year contract, which may be extended to a permanent contract after 1 year. Experience of working with pre-school children is essential, although full training and support will be given.
