St Charles Together is the new PTA for St Charles Borromeo Catholic Primary School, bringing our school and wider community together.

We’re doing things a little differently. We want to be more than a traditional PTA and create an inclusive community where parents, teachers, grandparents, local residents, businesses, former pupils and friends of the school can all get involved.

Our fundraising has an ambitious goal: to raise £100,000 for the school. This funding is intended to help bridge the gap between what the school receives through government funding and what it costs to provide the exceptional education, opportunities and experiences we want for our children.

We know £100,000 is a big target, so we’re thinking differently about how we get there. Rather than relying on the same small group of parents to organise endless traditional fundraisers, we’re building a programme of fun, ambitious events and activities, alongside sponsorship, local business partnerships, donations and community initiatives.

Our events are designed to be things people genuinely want to come to, while giving everyone an opportunity to contribute in whatever way works for them. You might volunteer for an hour, introduce us to a local business, donate a skill or prize, sponsor an event, share an idea or simply buy a ticket and have a brilliant time.

We’re also keen to use our fundraising to support selected charities and community causes where we can, reflecting our belief that St Charles is part of a wider community and has a role to play within it.

Whether you have an idea for an event, can offer a skill, would like to volunteer, have a local business you’d like to involve, or simply want to come along and join in, we’d love to hear from you.

🎪 Weybridge Circus on the School Field 🎪  Happy Circus is coming to the school on Wednesday 7th October! We’re transforming the school field into a spectacular 600-person Big Top, bringing an evening of professional circus entertainment to St Charles Borromeo. The evening will begin at 4pm with street food, drinks and a professional bar, before the circus starts at 5.30pm, finishing at 7pm. The event is open to the whole community, not just St Charles Borromeo families, and is a brilliant example of what we’re hoping to achieve with St Charles Together: bringing people together, creating fantastic experiences and raising money to help make St Charles the exceptional school we want it to be. 🎟️ Tickets are £15 per person, with under-2s free when sitting on an adult’s lap. https://www.pta-events.co.uk/scbpta/index.cfm?event=event&eventId=120427 We can’t wait to welcome you under the Big Top! 🎪
